Welcome to East Foundation

We are a new Foundation working to make a positive and lasting contribution to east London and Essex.

Through funding diverse and innovative projects, we will help support the mission of our founder, East Thames Group. Our work will benefit young people and their families, build communities and help those people in most need to achieve their goals.

• The Foundation has already begun supporting local initiatives, including;
  
  
  • Time for Youth
  • Community Food Enterprise
  • Multi-Media pilot project

We aim to work closely with other funding agencies, community organisations and companies operating in east London and Essex. By working together we are able to identify projects and, most importantly, monitor the impact and difference they make to peoples lives.

East Foundation was launched in January 2007 at the House of Lords. It is a charitable organisation with its own board of trustees
